Trust is good, material testing is better!

On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Dortmund Technical University will hold an open house. Between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., interested visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the university, its faculties, and its institutes. The Chair of Materials Test Engineering will be participating with various program items and cordially invites all interested parties to discover the field of materials testing on site:

Practical insights: Visitors can try out our testing equipment for themselves and learn about the work of a materials tester.

Knowledge quiz: Short questions about materials engineering give the opportunity to test personal knowledge.

Laboratory tours: During guided tours, we show visitors around the department's laboratories and explain our current research and development work.
