Process parameter-controlled characterization of the corrosion fatigue behavior re-treated arc-sprayed ZnAl-based coating systems
Within the project, various process parameters for the production and mechanical post-processing of ZnAl-based coating systems are evaluated, which are used for numerous mechanically loaded components. The coating systems are characterized among others using 3D-surface measurement, nanoindentation, scanning electron microscopy, potentiodynamic polarization measurement and in-situ corrosion fatigue tests. The aim of the project is to evaluate and optimize the corrosion fatigue resistance of the coating systems.
