Midterm colloquium SPP2476

Researchers gathered at TU Dortmund University to exchange insights on the modelling and design of complex manufacturing process chains.

On October 21–22, 2026, TU Dortmund University hosted the mid-term colloquium of the DFG Priority Program 2476, “Cross-Process Modelling in Production Engineering.”

The event focused on current research into the interactions between successive manufacturing processes and the challenges of accounting for uncertainties along complex process chains. Participants presented and discussed their research findings, exchanged ideas and explored different approaches to cross-process modelling. The colloquium provided a valuable opportunity to share knowledge, gain new perspectives and strengthen collaboration among the participating research groups.

We would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions and for making the colloquium a successful and engaging event.
