• The number of students is limited to 20, 10 each M. Sc. Maschinenbau and MMT.

The laboratory “Fatigue and Fracture Behavior of Metallic Materials” enables students to gain comprehensive practical knowledge of basic materials testing and related measurement techniques, consisting of appointments and self-study components. In the 1^th session, students are divided into groups and the experimental procedures are explained. Afterward, the students gather information about the experiments in self-study. The experiments will be carried out in the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th sessions. The required files and information for the evaluation of the experiments will be provided in Moodle. The results will be presented by each group in a final presentation in the 5^th session. Finally, there will be a scientific discussion.
